TIP

Why does the Video app not show the videos that I have recorded using the Camera app?

By default, the Camera app stores recorded videos in the Camera Roll folder, which is part of the Pictures library, whereas the Video app displays only digital video files from the Videos library. To have your Camera app videos appear in the Video app, you could use File Explorer (tap in the Desktop app) to move your recorded videos to the Videos library. Alternatively, in the Video app, tap my videos, swipe up from the bottom of the screen, tap Open File, tap Files, tap Pictures, tap Camera Roll, tap the video, and then tap Open.
